My recent stay was made enjoyable by the hotel's friendly staff and its proximity to local attractions like the Fakenham Museum of Gas and Local History, just a short walk away, as well as the beautiful Wensum Way, perfect for leisurely walks alongside the river.

Sweet staff but stuffy stay

The staff were super friendly, really made me feel welcome! Stayed in a twin room that had a skylight instead of a real window. Felt kind of like a dungeon tbh. It was hot and bugs got in because the window was hard to close. Free parking was a plus, and wifi was solid. The restaurant had decent food too!

There’s a nice seating area too. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were super helpful throughout the stay. The atmosphere was very relaxed.

We recently stayed in a double room for one night and were quite surprised by the shabby and dated decor, especially for the price we paid. Although the room was clean, it desperately needs upgrading. Breakfast was decent, and the receptionist was notably pleasant, which added a small positive touch to our visit. we will be looking for better options if we're in the area again.
